Privacy Policy

What we do not require

Xiazi Says requires no account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information. The iOS app does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use IDFA for tracking across apps or websites.

How the app works

The app retrieves publicly published bilingual editions and posters from xiazishuo.com. Theme preferences and your last reading location stay on your device. Anonymous website analytics are disabled on the iOS app surface, and the app does not send these local preferences to us.

Advertising and consent

The browser website may show ads through Google AdSense. The iOS app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK for non-personalized native ads and does not load website ads at the same time. Google may process IP addresses, device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics to serve and measure ads and prevent invalid traffic. Where required, Google’s consent interface is shown before ads can be requested; you can also open privacy choices or hide an ad from the ad menu. See the Google Privacy Policy.

If you subscribe to the iOS app’s ad-free service, Apple handles purchases, renewals, free trials, refunds, and payment information. Xiazi Says reads only the active subscription entitlement supplied by Apple to decide whether ads should appear in the app and does not store card or payment credentials.

External links and sharing

News sources, social media, and other third-party links are governed by their own privacy policies. Poster sharing uses Apple’s system share sheet, and you choose the recipient and service.
