Google says Chinese-linked hackers infiltrated U.S. and Canadian research institutions

Google says UNC6508, a China-linked threat actor, spent more than a year inside U.S. and Canadian medical, academic and military research institutions. The collection targeted AI, uncrewed systems, public health and Indo-Pacific military strategy through compromised applications, credentials and email rules.
