The U.S. Air Force starts production of semi-autonomous wingmen

The U.S. Air Force awarded production contracts to General Atomics and Anduril for the first semi-autonomous collaborative combat aircraft, moving the program from prototypes into scaled production. The drones are expected to fly with crewed fighters on reconnaissance, electronic warfare and combat missions.
