DR Congo Ebola cases rose to 956 with 247 deaths

DR Congo’s latest figures showed confirmed Ebola cases rising from 933 to 956, with deaths increasing from 245 to 247. In a northeastern camp housing more than 15,000 displaced people, at least 30 people have died since May. Crowding, poor sanitation and resistance to testing are increasing transmission risks. The World Health Organization has treated the outbreak as an international public-health emergency.
