Canada’s TD Bank will track some employees’ browser and meeting time

Toronto-Dominion Bank told some employees in financial-crime and risk-management teams it will use WorkiQ software to track time spent on browsers, internal chat and meeting apps. The bank said the tool does not listen to conversations, read spreadsheets or use artificial intelligence, and is meant to improve staffing and workflow. Employees raised concerns over privacy, consent and future data use.
