U.S. and Iranian delegations reached Switzerland as Iran claimed the Strait of Hormuz was closed

Senior U.S. and Iranian delegations prepared to start peace talks in Switzerland to implement a 60-day interim ceasefire. At the same time, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said the Strait of Hormuz was closed, while U.S. Central Command disputed the claim and said 55 merchant ships carrying more than 17 million barrels of oil still passed that day.
