Anthropic brought Claude into Slack group conversations

Anthropic launched a research preview of Claude Tag. Slack users can type “@Claude” in a channel, allowing the AI to read conversation context, break down tasks and proactively surface relevant updates inside an organization. The feature is available to Claude Enterprise and Team customers, with administrators able to limit what data and tools Claude can access in each channel. The significance is not just fewer copy-and-paste steps; it moves AI from private chat into a shared collaboration space.
