Anthropic accused an Alibaba-linked team of extracting Claude’s capabilities at massive scale

Anthropic told U.S. lawmakers that Alibaba- and Qwen-linked personnel used nearly 25,000 fake accounts and about 28.8 million Claude interactions to extract software-development and agentic reasoning capabilities. The claim remains Anthropic’s allegation unless independently confirmed.
