Israel said it destroyed Hezbollah underground infrastructure in southern Lebanon

Israel said its military destroyed Hezbollah underground infrastructure in the southern Lebanese village of Majdal Zoun, including a tunnel about 200 meters long. Israel said it had notified the United States in advance. The episode shows that even while regional diplomacy continues, tunnels, armed groups and border security zones can still trigger fresh military action.
