Iran insists on control and possible fees in the Strait of Hormuz

Senior Iranian sources said Tehran wants recognition of its control over the Strait of Hormuz and the ability to charge vessels entering or leaving the Gulf. Under an interim U.S.-Iran understanding, Iran allows free passage for 60 days, but says wording still leaves it room to decide how ships pass.
