The Refugee Convention marks its 75th anniversary

UNHCR says the 1951 Convention remains the foundation of international refugee protection on its 75th anniversary. About 41.6 million refugees remain displaced while the agency was only 31% funded at the end of June. The milestone calls for stronger asylum systems, cooperation and support for host communities.
