Heavy rain and flash-flood risk shifted from the Midwest toward the mid-Atlantic

Thunderstorms, heavy rain and flash flooding continued from the Midwest toward the mid-Atlantic; West Virginia, southeast Ohio and northeast Kentucky were under flood watches, while earlier storms in Indiana had killed seven people.
