Reno's Hawk Fire approached the city as about 90,000 people were urged to evacuate

The Associated Press reported the fire had spread across about 53 square kilometres and remained uncontained, driven by strong wind, low humidity and dry vegetation; local operators need staff check-ins, closure notices, logistics rerouting and remote-recovery plans.
