The Nepal-Tibet ice-rock collapse flood caused mass casualties, left more than 1,300 missing and severed bridges and roads

Reports indicate that an ice-rock avalanche drove a huge debris flood down the valley, damaging at least 19 bridges and about 40 kilometers of road; casualty figures remain fluid, while search, evacuation, communications and downstream warning are the immediate priorities.
