Bangsamoro holds its first parliamentary election

About 2.4 million voters in the Bangsamoro autonomous region of the southern Philippines vote on September 14 for their first elected parliament. The 80 seats span party, district and sectoral representation, moving a long peace process from an interim authority toward elected governance.
