The EU customs overhaul enters its final legislative stage

The Council has approved the new EU customs framework and Parliament is expected to complete its final vote in September. Non-EU platforms selling to EU consumers become the importer responsible for declarations, duties and product safety, making HS codes, origin, IOSS data and checkout disclosure operational priorities.
