The US updates its August business-formation indicators

The US Census Bureau has released August Business Formation Statistics covering tax-ID applications, high-propensity applications and employer businesses formed from them. For a solo operator, application volume is an early signal of demand and competition, while operating quality still depends on paying customers, collection speed and fixed hiring commitments.
