Gates Foundation commits $1 billion to widen AI access

The Gates Foundation will invest $1 billion over two years in local-language data, clinical support, education tools and real-time advice for small farmers, including roughly $400 million each for education and health and $100 million for agriculture. The central risk is that useful AI reaches only those who can already afford it.
