Five businesses will compete for $1 million in growth capital

The US Small Business Administration will host a Small Business Expo and Million Dollar Pitch Competition on September 18. Five finalists selected from 1,182 applicants across all 50 states will share $1 million in prizes. For a one-person company, the transferable lesson is to explain the problem, traction, use of funds and next milestone on one page.
