Ukraine and seven countries launch the Carpathian Eight

The initiative links Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Austria and Hungary, with the EU involved. Its first summit prioritizes security, energy, import-export routes and community cooperation. An investment lab presents 90 projects seeking about $10.7 billion from regional partners.
