73% of small businesses report rising costs over the past three months

A Small Business Majority survey finds that raw materials, utilities, health premiums and rent are pushing costs higher, with 73% reporting increased expenses in the past three months. The share not using AI fell from 36% in the first quarter to 20%, while 59% favor a federal protection floor that still allows stronger state rules.
