Typhoon Dujuan hits Japan's Kanto region
The Asian Disaster Reduction Center summarizes Japan Fire and Disaster Management Agency data at 12:30 p.m. on September 22: five dead, six missing, 23 injured and 21 homes destroyed, with many more flooded. The storm disrupted power and transport around Tokyo. Even as Dujuan moved into the Pacific, search operations and the threat of delayed landslides continued.
