Johnstons grows international revenue 60% in one year

Scottish cashmere brand Johnstons of Elgin added multi-currency payment, prepaid duties and taxes, local returns and 30-plus languages to cross-border checkout, then used logistics savings for incentives such as free shipping in priority markets. A Global-e case reports 60% international revenue growth, 38% higher conversion and 59% more orders across 58 destinations within a year; Hong Kong conversion rose 195%. The vendor case omits advertising, return and net-profit data. Currency, seasonality and reverse logistics remain key risks for premium apparel.
