Chatbase reaches $10M ARR
Chatbase lets companies build AI customer-service agents on their own content to answer questions and handle support workflows, charging through base subscriptions, usage and add-ons. A payments case says founder Yasser Elsaid won the first paying customer thirty minutes after posting the initial demo and that the company reached $10 million in annual recurring revenue in March 2026. With about 26 people, it serves both self-serve small businesses and enterprise buyers needing sales and onboarding. Smart retries recovered more than $870,000 in otherwise lost payments over three years, while fraud tooling reduced fraudulent transactions by 37%. The figures come from a payment provider and secondary analysis. They confirm real payment activity, but ARR is not GAAP revenue and gross margin, retention, acquisition cost and inference cost remain undisclosed.
