Marc Jacobs grows international ecommerce revenue 130%
Marc Jacobs already attracted global shoppers, but supported only a few currencies, international cards and PayPal, with duties and returns insufficiently localized. After adopting Global-e, the brand launched in three weeks with more than thirty languages, local currencies and pricing, destination-specific fields, local payment methods, prepaid duties and consolidated local returns. The vendor case reports that international orders rose 77% year over year and international ecommerce revenue 130% in the first three months; German conversion increased 155%, while French revenue rose 484% in five months. The mechanism reduces checkout uncertainty and expands the addressable market. The case reflects a historical implementation window, is vendor-reported and omits baseline, returns, advertising, platform fees and net profit, so it is not a current margin claim.
