Kimi K3.1 Pro goes live

Moonshot AI launched Kimi K3.1 Pro and its Highspeed variant on October 23, calling it the first K3.1-series model and its most capable 3T-class system to date. It offers a one-million-token context window and stronger coding, 3D creation, financial research and long-horizon agent performance. Highspeed keeps the same model quality at roughly two to three times the speed. The models are live in Kimi Code and the API, where standard input and output cost $2 and $10 per million tokens; Highspeed costs $4 and $20. The current boundaries are that K3.1 Pro supports thinking mode only and full context depends on membership tier. Official capabilities and benchmarks do not guarantee superiority in every workflow, so teams still need to test quality, latency and cost together.
